KEHORATORIO
2017-2019
“Body has a face, it has a memory. Body is a paper full of writing. Vessel filled with experiences: transgressive and remedial mass. Body is part of history of world; not only one’s history. Mind has a ability to remember, but body has a memory that doesn’t fail.”
KEHORATORIO is a part of performative study about power structures concerning bodies. Compassionate movement and participatory research creates a base for bodily research laboratory. In the work calligraphy is painted on the skin and stories are told from the texts written by audience and performers.
Kehoratorio has been performed several times in Lapinlahden Lähde and Free Art Space in Helsinki during 2017-2019.
